Logos Not Opening

There are a few other posts like this but I was told to start a new thread.

I am using a Lenovo laptop with Win 10. The first image pops up immediately upon clicking on the icon but the program does not continue. I checked the Task Manager and the program registers but never gets past 1.2 mgs of usage. The images stay on the screen for a few minutes then disappears after a few minutes and the program does not continue loading. It also disappears from the Task Manager screen.

It's crashing because a required file couldn't be loaded but I can't tell why this is happening.

Hopefully someone with more knowledge in this area will be able to comment further

John, can you update Logos to 6.10? You can do so from www.logos.com/install. Post new Logos logs if the crash continues, and if you could post Event Viewer logs as well.

After Logos crashes open the Event Viewer (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/open-event-viewer#1TC=windows-7) and navigate to Windows Logs>Application. It might take a while for the window on the right to populate.

Once it does, look for error messages, and please copy and paste the text from those messages to a Text file and send it to me. Please include the text from any adjacent messages where the source is Windows error Reporting. Alternatively, and probably more efficiently, you can select the error messages and any adjacent messages together, select the “Action” menu and select “Save selected events.” Once you have all those logs you may try to zip them and post them or zip portions of them and post them over a few posts if there is a size constraint.

After installing 6:10 Logos appears to work.
