I am well acquainted with the Logos note taking features, and especially love the fact that as I read my Bible on my tablet, the highlights and so forth that I made during earlier study sessions on my PC are synchronized and appear, reminding me of what I read earlier.
One thing I miss from a physical Bible are the margin notes - the quick scribbles pointing out the most important references or highlighting a thought. This is especially true when using my Logos Bible on my tablet during an impromptu Bible lesson - my Logos notes are present in the app, but are only accessible after clicking the note icon in the margin and are not easy to refer to on-the-fly.
My point is not that I want access to quick and easy access to ALL my notes, but it would be fantastic to restore the old-fashioned margin notes that we all used to make in the margins of our Bibles. I'm suggesting a short, 10-characters or less abbreviated text note that could appear in the margin next to a verse; a place to expose the most important thoughts about a verse for easy reference when reading and re-reading the Bible.
I've attached a mockup of how this might look if it were implemented. As shown in my mockup, several of the verses might include a short text note in the margin, displayed in a nice smallish script font to conserve space. To me, this would be a game changer.
