Scrolling in notes is reset to top when switching tabs

When I switch tabs out of a note the scrolling is always reset to the top when I come back to it. Is there a way to disable this? Its very annoying to have to scroll down and find my place in my notes every time I switch tabs.

I tried searching the forum but couldn't find anything on this.
