Searching proper names

How would you search for a proper name? Either a personal or place name is what I'm looking for.

I'm NOT looking for a Biblical name such as Abram, Peter, Ruth or Haran, Ur or Athens.

The reason I'm asking is, that I was reading in a particular resource and came across a guys name who was instrumental in the gathering of information that was contained in this book. After several days I came back to said resource and forgot his name.

So, is there a way to search for proper names in resources such as I have just given?

You can't do it outside of Bibles, because the tagging isn't there.

Thanks but.... I'm not looking for the actual word, 'instrumental' only that he was instrumental/helpful/contributed to the book.

So if the guy who was instrumental in compiling 'stuff' for the resource is named Bob, or Harry or Garry, how would I search for his name? Even though I don't remember what his name is.

So I couldn't search for all non-biblical names because these 'modern' names are not tagged. Right?

Well I guess if all else fails I just re-read the resource. Can't hurt, maybe this time I'll remember what I read [:$]

KS4J's point was that if the word "instrumental" was used, you might be able to use that to find the right spot in the book... It wouldn't hurt to do several searches using synonyms to see if you can find what you are looking for.

I did an inline search for the word "thanks" and hit upon the guys name.
