Topic Hell Search comes up 0?

I believe i might be doing something wrong but wanted to ask the forums. What I'm trying to do is generate a list of all the different words in the bible that relate to hell. I went to the magnifying class and tried searching for <topic hell> which appears in the drop down under all bible text and all passages but it comes up zero. Why would the topic hell option exist if it can't be found. I tried searching the LEB. Any thoughts or help would be much appreciated!

Out of just over 17,000 volumes I have less than 10 that deal with the subject or topic of hell. But we know hell is talked about almost more than anything in scripture. I can't help you, but try searching on the other terms for hell, ie. ghenna or eternal punishment.

Try <Topic Hell> (Capital "H")
Try the Factbook or Topic Guide
I have 109 results in 22 resources. Out of 10,169 Resources.
Notice there are no Atlas or Biblical Places entries.

Hi Mattillo - I'm not an expert so others might be able to provide a better solution. However, using the Logos 6 general search facility (magnifying glass icon) in a Bible search of all text in all Bibles, I used <Sense Hell> and received 445 results in 408 verses in 24 resources. This showed a variety of words in the Bible relating to hell.
If you were interested in only searching the LEB you could choose that Bible alone to search. With your results you might create a passage list for further study. Hope that helps. Keep well Paul

You are absolutely right that this is the way to go. Or one can get a solid Passage List from the Factbook
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Key Passages for Hell in Factbook can be found by searching for <Sense fire (process)>
More senses to search:
<Sense hell>, <Sense hell ⇔ place of affliction>, <Sense hell ⇔ the eternal fire>, <Sense to cast into hell>, <Sense fire (process)>
Another Search inspired from Factbook:
<Culture = Hell> OR {Section <Culture = Hell>} OR <PreachingTheme Hell>

Thank you sirs... I appreciate all of your help. I will try all of those ideas when I get home today. I don't really use the sense function all that often but that is due to my ignorance of it. I'll have to research more into that later.
