What's going on here?
Obviously, I would prefer to pay the lower of the two prices ...

and I think the reason is that the new dynamic pricing algorithm ("Your exclusive price") doesn't work in the fact that the new volume is part of a March Madness sale and therefore "sold separately" at a cheaper than usual price.
EDIT: on the other hand, the Lexham HD NT ESV which your screenshot has as $59.95 individual price seems not to be part of March Madness and to be sold for $79.99 - do you get a rebate due to Academic Pricing? Anyway, the dynamic pricing of the larger bundle seems not to capture that, if on purpose or due to a bug I don't know.

Then go to the individual resource and do so....

From Faithlife's answer in another thread it can be inferred this is considered "working as designed", dynamic price won't be changed to reflect an even better deal and you are better off with your incividual resource

There are a lot of bad "deals" with dynamic pricing. I completed a bundle last week for $158.58, which added two items to my library. I then noticed that if I bought one individually and the other through a different bundle (it was the sole item remaining), the pricing dropped down to $117. So, I paid $41 for thin air and had to argue with Customer Support for nearly a week to get the situation rectified.
Going from past purchase history, prices seem to increase 6-8% each year (even without any inflation!), so if you see items that you want and have the cash to buy them, it's better to buy now than wait, assuming the paradigm doesn't change.0 -

Thanks for the updates. Yes, I do get an academic discount. Maybe there is something going on there. Also, I see what you are pointing out in the screen shot about the Lexham HD NT ESV for $59.95. But on a closer look, it shows that I would get 7 new resources with the 6 volume bundle. What? I'm not understanding the math. But here is what is shows at the bottom of the page:

I read the other thread, but I'm still a little lost.
I looked on the March Madness discounted items and I'm not seeing the Lexham set or portion thereof ... maybe I'm missing it completely, and perhaps that changes things. Any help there?
I checked my library and I have approximately 20+/- Lexham Greek resources of various sorts, none of them from this set except the ESV.
It would seem that part of the display appears to be correct. But that is about it. Everything else is a guess as far as pricing goes.
Why would it show a subset of the total set for $59 when I have none of resources in total and then tell me what a great deal I'm getting for 7 resources when they are advertising 6 resources ... but only if I buy half of the resources for more than half the total price.
??? ... maybe a bad week/month for the team ...

The Greek New Testament Discourse Bundle (9 vols.) has regular price of $ 199.99 that includes 6 vol LDGNT plus Discourse Grammar, Discourse Studies, and High Definition Philippians.

The seventh resource, ESV, is required for the six Discourse resources.
The Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament requires an unlocked copy of the English Standard Version, which is included in all of our base packages.
If have not purchased a base package, then the inclusion of ESV in the six volume LDGNT enables bundle to be used.

That's what I thought. Makes the page confusing as it is displaying a price for only 3 volumes versus the total for 6 volumes (next line).

Understood ... sort of... I have the ESV already. But that appears to be the 8th resource on the list at the bottom. The page indicates in the pricing area that I am getting "7 new resources" and 7 new resources are asterisked at the bottom.
Wait! [:O] I just now noticed that the list on the bottom has a resource not contained in the description above:

Maybe that is where the disconnect is on the 6 versus 7 issue.
Still doesn't explain the pricing part of the page. Oh well.
I guess, as others have mentioned elsewhere in the forums, the display of information on product pages when dynamic pricing and/or academic pricing and/or sale pricing in various combinations seems to have gotten a little more confusing recently.
... certainly does not engender confidence for the customer.
