Version of PowerPoint used in "Send to"

Running Logos 6 (currently 6.11 beta 4 - but this isn't really a beta issue) on Windows 10.

I currently have two versions of Microsoft Office installed which gives me PowerPoint 2010 and 2016.

When using the "Send to PowerPoint option" in Visual Copy and if I don't already have PowerPoint open then PowerPoint 2010 is used. If PowerPoint 2016 is already open then that is used.

Is there any way to force Logos to send to PP 2016 even if not already open?

Thanks, Graham

You might be able to change the default version of PowerPoint (that other applications, including Logos, connect to using COM) by editing this registry key: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\PowerPoint.Application\CurVer. Try setting it to "PowerPoint.Application.16".

Back up that key first before editing it.

    Thanks Bradley

Interestingly, it is already set to the value you mention.

I guessed it would involve poking around in the registry somewhere. But not a big deal so please don't worry further.

    Thanks again, Graham
