Tools that are designed primarily for use with Bibles are useful for resource that have many external and internal interconnections. This is a brief illustration using the Catechism of the Catholic Church but could as easily be used with any ecclesial document.
1. Tool ==> Lookup provides three tools useful with the CCC
- The Cited By tool shows you where the CCC passage you are focused on is cited in your library. It is organized by Collections.
- The Information tool is intended to give you information about a specific word which has your focus - hover or click. The Footnote section of this tool is the most useful section for the CCC. However, this is also available via the Page view or mouse hover.
- The Power Lookup tool identifies all the data type references in the article and looks up the relevant text. This is the most powerful of the tools when applied to the CCC as it provides the content of most references in the text.

2. The Cited By tool provides a sample of the results and a Search for complete results.

3. One has a sort option and an expanded/contracted option.

4. One may include collections as you wish in the order you wish. Collections available include:
- system defined collections
- user defined collections
- tag and rating based collections
- series defined collections

5. The footnote section is the most useful portion of the Information Tool in this context.

6. The definition section is also of use despite being tailored for original language texts.

7.Word Information also has settable options that are oriented towards interlinear resources.

8. Other References picks up tagging within the resource much like the right click context menu

9. Power Lookup provides the actual text for references within the article. The footnote shows the reference; the Power Lookup looks up that reference and provides the actual text.

10. Again there are options for linking etc.
