Alpha 14 - Logos4Mac just getting better and stabler!

I'd noticed a dramatic improvement in stability in A13 & A13A (or actually just A13A, because A13 wasn't around long enough...!) in comparison with A12 and A11, but A14 is robuster by far.

What I mean to say is that when the OSX beachball started to spin in A11 and A12, that was it - a long hang or immediate crash! But in A13 it could sometimes survive and carry on working - albeit a little flakey. But with A14, it can spin and recover, and spin and recover! 

You devs have been working hard, and I for one am grateful. A14 is really a bigger step-up - at least what is visible to a front-end user.

Could we be seeing a beta-release soon?

BTW - I'm still missing the ability to use the arrow keys to select the Bible book and Verse suggested by Logos when typing in the Bible to get to the passage requested (not the search field, btw).

Also, could the Search field of the Library always have focus on opening? Pretty please?

It's on the list... We just haven't gotten around to it.

Actually we were looking at this for A14, but there appears to be an Apple bug that doesn't make this easy to do for the type of widget we're using. We'll have to rewrite some code for it, but that too is on the list.
