Sort for Notes Documents When Adding a Highlight
Before updating to the current version (5.20) I noticed that when adding a highlight and I wanted to use a different document to store the highlight/note, the document list was sorted by "most recent" (very useful since I have a lot of documents where I store highlights). In version 5.20 the sort is now alphabetic and I don't see a way to revert back to it being sorted by most recent. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to have the notes documents sorted by most recent?

I hadn't noticed but I see what you mean!

Not that I'm aware of in the app
Hopefully someone from Faithlife will comment.

This might have been an unintended result of this change: https://beta.faithlife.com/comments/465094 . We're taking a look.

I've noticed this issue too. It would be great if it could revert to the most recently used list.

Thanks Kevin. Sorry about that!

Not being a beta tester for the mobile apps, I can't see the referenced thread. Nonetheless, I hope it's an easy fix to get back to most recently used!

In the thread referenced, he noted that the order of note documents within View Settings had changed (where you turn notes on & off visually within a given resource) from alphabetical to "last used." They fixed that "bug," which <may> have led to the problem you describe.
Graham apologized, but there was no need for him to do so! In that situation, you need to have the list in alphabetical order... and actually, users may want to have the list in alphabetical order here too... there needs to be better control from the user's standpoint. There isn't one behavior that makes sense for everyone.

Yes, Alabama is correct in all cases. We're looking at a better way for sorting note documents without having them all tied together.
