Highlighting scheme saved by layout

I wold like to suggest that the palettes you have highlighting designated to would be saved per individual layout. I have multiple layouts that I use - eg Devotions, Luke, General Study, etc...and in Luke I want all highlights saved to a "Luke" note. But in others I want them saved to "resource-based" and on and on. It would be great if I didn't have to adjust each highlight depending on what I'm studying...but that the preferences would be saved per layout.

And perhaps this is already there and I simply don't know how to do it. Thanks.

What your asking for can be done. You can create a custom palette called Luke. You can tell Logos that all highlights made using that palette will go to a specific not file, in this case the Luke note.

That sort of works, but isn't really what I'm asking. You would still have to move shortcuts, etc...per study/using of palette. I would love it to be the standard highlight palettes (or ones created) and then have the preferences saved per layout. That would reduce time changing things and worrying if you have saved to the right file each time, because it would be in reference to the layout you have chosen.
