Thomas Nelson Publishers

Has anyone heard whether Nelson is dropping their commitment to LOGOS. I just picked up Nelson's Preacher's Sourcebook. In the past the accompanying CD was formatted for use with LOGOS. The 2010 version includes PDF files rather than LOGOS books. I also notice that at least one sermon is by a major LOGOS disciple - one Morris Proctor.

Any details appreciated.

The previous editor of the "sourcebook" was Rob Morgan. He is a friend of Morris Proctor. Morgan's sermon's are available on the Proctor website.

I too, missed having a Logos CD. Compared to logos, PDF is quite a let-down.

Has anyone heard whether Nelson is dropping their commitment to LOGOS.

I have wondered where Nelson is going on software for over 2 yrs.

They had announced a vol. 2 of Max Lucado's LifeWorks Library, which kept being delayed. There was no listing of what the content was going to be. I contacted Nelson about 2 yrs ago and they told me they hadn't finalized what product was going to be included.

They have now dropped the original Lucado pkg and have repackaged their other LifeWorks packages to smaller $50 pkgs.

They have a wealth of material in Nelson/Word. Logos has a lot of it available, but there is much more that I would like to see in Logos format.
