I am considering getting a high end chrome book for college but the only thing holding me back is I wont have access to my Logos library. Is there a mobile app available on the Chrome OS that gives access to your library?
If you have a Now or Cloud subscription, you can use app.logos.com. It is still in development, but works okay for reading, searching, etc.
Its pretty silly when you spend as much as I did on software and then have to extend to a monthly subscription to access something away from your main installed computer.

Chrome may allow Android apps to be used => http://www.zdnet.com/article/google-sets-android-apps-free-to-run-on-chrome-os/ and => http://www.computerworld.com/article/2925154/chrome-os/android-chrome-os-future.html Faithlife Android apps are available via Google Play. Mobile device apps have a subset of desktop features => https://www.logos.com/support/mobile-devices
https://biblia.com can be used on chrome book to access resources available for mobile devices.
If have a computer with desktop Logos application and stable networking, then could use Chrome Remote Desktop.

Just for clarity for newbies reading the forums. The software is free. You pay for resources and datasets.
Michael, check out this post I wrote up about how you can install the Android Logos Bible! app on the Google Chromebook Pixel 2. Please note this is not supported by Faithlife and I can't say if it works on other chromebooks.
Thank you so much.
Welcome to the forums Michael. I am sure you are aware, but the Android app doesn't have the full functionality of the desktop version of Logos. It will give you access to your library, but not to some desktop functions. I'd hate you to buy a Chromebook only to discover that the functions that you wanted to use weren't available.
This is because Logos is hurting for money so they are trying every way they can to get more money on a regular basis out of users. However, there is really only one other major Bible software maker that offers this kind of functionality and they do it for free. Just log in using your password and you have access to all your books.
It's not really worth paying right now because the website is VERY limited and the growth of features has come to an almost complete stand still lately. In fact a recent update broke a bunch of previously available features. I pay because I want this functionality and I see it as my investment in what it will become but my patience is wearing thin lately.

How do you know this or are you speculating?
Well I want to thank you for that reply Greg. I will stay away from the chromebook and just wait longer to get the right laptop. I have not been overly impressed with the Android app to begin with, for Bible study it does very well but that is not what I use Logos for.

I would bet it is speculation... that said it is a valid concern. Bob says it is just reorganizing and in no way anything to do with finical health. But the massive lay offs including the ones just before Christmas leave one very suspicious about reasoning. And the loss of people who had been with FL for well over a decade lead a lot of people with hard feelings. I for one have decided with a wait and see giving Bob the benefit of the doubt.

Obviously I'm speculating based on the actions of the company over the last year. Layoffs, a lot of emphasis on subscriptions and more aggressive sales pushes cancelling Send to Kindle feature to protect copyright etc.
I also know for a fact that the Bible software industry in general is hurting and seeing a huge retraction. Other companies are struggling to pay people they owe for sales of books, are cutting staff and failing to hit update goals.
