This popped up when I tried to access a forum thread. Ever since I responded to upgrade Adobe Flashplayer, I have been getting a boatload of junk in Safari. The website address is yourvotecounts.com How did I get to be a New Visitor?
Did you win a prize for being a new visitor?
Could be malware, check this site out

Thanks Don. I really liked that one response—"More likely she is after the contents of your bank account"
Seems like the link to update Flash-Player has given me a cold. So much for Mac immunity from viruses [8-|]
I've uninstalled Flash from my Macs—if I need flash for a website (which is rare now), I use Chrome. Chrome has Flash built-in and sandboxed.

Thanks for the link Levi. Flash is no more on my Mac. Now to check my Bride's Mac.

Sometimes, I must admit that I'm not as computer savvy as I think I am—Or maybe, I'm just prone to ignore certain warnings. I had heard about Flash, so why did I click that link? [:$]

Chrome allows components to be updated individually:
chrome://components
Component pepper_flash is Chrome's Flash Player; current release as of 15 Apr 2016 is 21.0.0.216
