Currently when you want to add a note you have to right click on the word/verse and then in the lower right corner you have the option to add a note to the last opened note file. If the note file you want to save it to wasn't the last one you must first manually open it and then it will appear as an option.
My suggestion is that in place of only listing the most recently opened note file, you make it a drop down box so I can easily select any note.
This is a proposed solution to a genuine problem. I'm not convinced it is the best solution but I have no better solution at this time ... some that almost work but in this case "almost" would be worse than the current situation. My concern is that Logos 6 dropdown menus tend to be slow opening. Given that the performance of large Notes Documents is poor, people are forced to use more Documents ... which slows the dropdown menu ...If there were some way to limit the dropdown menu to a few "top candidates" I'd be more comfortable. And "top candidates" would be defined by already containing notes for this resource, for this palette, for this layout, used recently ... You understand why I say I don't quite have a satisfactory solutions.
