Is it possible to search a Bible and get a list of references and not the whole verse?
You can use the analysis option and delete the columns you do not want to appear. In the example I have deleted everything but "references".
Yes, you can perform your search and view it in analysis.
You can then right click on the heading titles and just see the list of verses.
Then you can export to an excel document
I don't remember if 4.0a will remember which columns you were viewing or not so you might have to delete unneeded columns. Also You might want to eliminate duplicates in Excel (see that program's help file) so verses only appear once.
Yes, I know this is a cumbersome route to take. When Logos implements verse lists it will probably be a simple export from a Bible search to get them.

4.0a does not remember the columns from search to search once you have exited the analysis screen and run another type of search (e.g. run analysis search modify columns and then run a grid search).
I believe only the beta remembers the column layout between searches.
I think that is correct. I have not tested it in the Beta yet; but I am sure there are others who can quickly confirm that. I wonder how much linger it will be before we see 4.0b released?

I just confirmed it.
