I would suggest this suggestion be rethought - clippings are generally clipped rather than copy & pasted. If it is copy & paste that is requested, then this request is already included in the second highest priority project which is already started "Copy from anywhere (Guides, Search Results, Resource Info panel)". If the ability to clip information from Guides into Clippings is what is intended, the broader request "allowing clipping of guides" is the appropriate request.
