Automatic Updates – ?

Hello,

A basic beginner question:

In Logos is Automatic (version) update available? I have two iMacs and notice one has version Logos Bible Software 6.10 SR-2, 6.10.0.0041 and the other has version 6.11.0.0026. Shouldn't they both be the same version? How and where Do I go to turn on Auto Updates and also how do I do it manually if necessary. The last time I was given instructions it took 3 days to complete since it reinstalled my entire library.

(I have a rather large library)

It should automatically update, but if you type "update now" into the command box, it will force-check. 6.11 just came out today, so only one of your installations has noticed.

How and where Do I go to turn on Auto Updates

Go to Tools >> Program Settings and look under Internet. If Auto Updates is "Yes" then the command update now or restarting Logos should initiate an update.

If you haven't changed any preferences, then yes.

How and where Do I go to turn on Auto Updates

If you didn't change anything, you don't have to... but lets assume you did change something. Have you looked in preferences to see if you have "use internet" turned on? What about the auto updates (& the window for updates)?

also how do I do it manually if necessary.
