i can't seem to find a setting to format reading Bibles by paragraph grouping, instead of by chapters. Some paragraphs cross chapters and therefore should not be divided.
any suggestions?
Rick, welcome to the forums.
There is no setting to see Bibles in paragraph format that were not produced that way. Sorry.
Thanks for you response.
i see what your saying. Like the NASB. I wonder how the other Bible apps and software do it? Logos 6 Desktop is what I use for serious study, but on my iPad I mainly read with another app that does format the NASB.

You can't change the paragraphs as set by the translators, but you can turn off the versification. See "bible text only" options in the resources visual filter menu.

They must have coded their Bibles to recognize paragraphs and allow viewing that way rather than by verses. Personally I would like to see Logos do that as long as they are allowed to do so by the publisher. When I am studying I like verse layout, but when reading I would prefer paragraphs.
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried that, but then it turns off verse numbers. It's not a big deal. I was just trying to avoid using two apps. Logos is by far my favorite for study.
