Looked in Logos help but could not find a way to accomplish this. When I highlight a passage (yellow) I would like it to highlight across all or at least my top Bible versions. Is there any way to do this?
New Feature: Corresponding Notes and Highlights (Feature)
When I highlight a passage (yellow) I would like it to highlight across all or at least my top Bible versions. Is there any way to do this?
MJ provided a link. Let me provide an explanation.
Until recently, there was no way to do this. A highlight, by definition, is a note created by SELECTION. By its definition, you can't have it in multiple translations because it is attached to the surface text SELECTION (the visible characters you have selected). A highlight is NOT attached to the reference or lemma.
A new "Logos Now" feature is essentially a "sympathetic highlighting" feature. If you have a highlight in a bible with an underlying reverse interlinear, you can see the same words highlighted in other translations which also have a reverse interlinear.
Because of the nature of translation, this feature works best for users who desired to have a highlight seen across translations by lemma within a reference. Users who are ignoring the underlying OL's but simply highlighting phrases, sentences, verses, etc. may have mixed results with this feature because of english word order, etc.
