According to Dr. Michael Heiser, the Hebrew language has two letters (gimel and ayin) that can sound like the English letter G. Greek also has gamma, that has the G sound.
Result: Gomorrah and Gaza both begin with ayin, but in Greek both begin with gamma. In Revelation, the word "Armageddon" might have been spelled in Hebrew with either gimel or ayin, which would make a huge difference in our understanding of what John was driving at.
Question: Is there a way that Logos can be used to find all the Hebrew names that begin with ayin that we think of as beginning with G? (The Exhaustive Dictionary of Bible Names has all the names, but does not spell them out in Hebrew letters.)
