I Guess I'm Back to Being Catholic Again

Sure, I used my free bookmark from LitPress. And the free roserie beads seemed to look cute with my red outfit.

But I thought Logos successfully got me back in the Protestant fold (Literalist Denomination).

So today, from Service Verbum, my pre-pub is about to ship. I don't even know how to order a Verbum pre-pub.

I wonder if I pushed the Vulgate interlinear pre-pub way too much. Or was caught with 5 Catholic translations in my Bibles collection?

Well, the Literalists by definition can't be catholic. For example, messians may have been the annointed ones (DSS usage).

Which Catholic? My impression is that the Verbumeisters haven't quite got that nailed down yet.

If you were offended by my joke regarding the term "catholic", may I remind you that I am Anglican. Each Sunday we recite the Nicene Creed which states "We believe in one holy catholic church" so I am hardly mocking.

Stephen, I won't be offended with your normal reaction.

I can't speak to punctuation, or upper/lower case usage. The above references go back to earlier threads, where Logos kept re-defining me due to my purchasing. Other Logosians suggested it might be easier to convert ... I wasn't offended.

I do intensionally purchase and recommend resources primarily aimed at Catholics because I think it's important. Unfortunately, Logos makes me pay a price periodically. Probably the first petrine epistle was aimed at situations a little more significant than this.

Now I may be a bit prejudice as a cat-holic catholic Catholic but I suspect it was more "you have every right to be wrong" that Stephen found a bit offensive which may have made him a bit touchy for the humor that followed.

I decided to bury myself in From Discourse to Logic rather than acknowledge the remark.
