I applied highlighting filter to distinguish direct speech of two or more bible characters. Each person's words is marked by a distinct color. Is there a way to see stats to find who is the predominant voice in the text in terms of number of words?
Definitely not with a visual filter.
With a normal search you will get the number of "speeches" made by each character. You can get the number of words with a time-consuming wildcard search like * WITHIN {Speaker <Person Israelites>}, but do it in an original language bible for accuracy e.g. LHB and SBLGNT.
The highlighting has more than one use for me. Could you send the help link for the search you suggest? I need to figure you the syntax you sent and obtain explanation for other search possibilities. Time-consuming wildcard, never heard of that. Thanks

It's possible I misunderstood your original post, so if you are highlighting the speech with different styles (colours) for different persons then the search for number of words becomes something like * WITHIN {Highlight Personality1} and * WITHIN {Highlight Personality2} where Personality1 is the style name you use.
You need a Logos 6 base package and the search format can be found at https://wiki.logos.com/Search_HELP#Search_Extensions including the use of WITHIN.

Using * like this (as a wildcard for any word) takes a long time --> several minutes at least.
