My Logos 6 has this constantly now. No matter how I shutdown/restart do an update now or a rebuild index it still shows as "Resources are ready to be added to your library"/
Any ideas? I didnt find this onmm the forum
Dave
I think that this thread should be moved out of the Catholic Products forum.
Try "Update Now" in the Command Box. Let's see if that starts the process.
Please provide logs. See my signature line.
Allow me to correct that this is Verbum 6. That is why I put it here. Sorry for the confusion
i will get them this evening thank you
thanks it didn't. I also tried to rebuild the index aswell. I will send the logs in this eve to support.
Nice idea though. I always wondered why "Update Now" behaves differently than the update now circular arrows

When clicked the circular arrows perform a "Sync Now" function for your documents and guides. The command "update now" will attempt to get updates for your resources and/or the software.

It would be better to post them here in this thread. You may not get help via email, or at least much slower. If you need help, your best bet is either 1) the forums or 2) calling customer service.

The Verbum forum is primarily for issues related to resources. The Logos 6 forum is where you should go if you have issues with the software. Confusing, I know. The real problem with posting in the Verbum forum for software issues is that you won't get the help you need there. The bulk of those helping out (volunteers & FL employees) will be here in this forum (if you were unaware, your thread has already been moved).

Bump
Try the following:-
Exit Logos then rename the following folders ---> add a 1 to the end of the folder name:
C:\Users\daveg_000\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\qriqefzl.xhq\UpdateManager
C:\Users\daveg_000\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\qriqefzl.xhq\ResourceManager\Downloaded
Delete the following file:
C:\Users\daveg_000\AppData\Local\Logos\Data\qriqefzl.xhq\ResourceManager\Resources\ATHANASIUSTHGRT03.logos4
---> NB. type LLS:ATHANASIUSTHGRT03 in the Command Box, open the resource and check its Info page has that filename!
Then restart Logos.
On top of the other issues that I'm trying to resolve, I now have this issue (on Logos) also. [:(]
I have to step out for a while. Will post logs when I return. Thanks.
Here are my logs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi Dave, and thanks. [:)]
I took a hint from the instructions you gave Dave Gifford in a reply above, that led me to believe that there must be a malfunctioning resource update, and THAT resource would be listed in the logs somewhere. So I took the initiative and combed through the logs and found what appeared to be FRONTLINE (and indeed it was). I then followed the instructions, substituting FRONTLINE for the resource that Dave Gifford had. It worked.
I do have one more question concerning this. The process took some time, as it went out and downloaded each of my resources again (about 25GB). Is this normal, or did I miss something in the instructions?
Thanks again.

Should not have done that unless you accidentally deleted the F:\Logos\Data\q5njbhrw.vgv\ResourceManager\Resources\ folder instead of the single resource file for LLS:FRONTLINE2ED.

Thanks Dave; I see my mistake. What I did was to rename the ResourceManager folder. I didn't go far enough down the directory tree. A learning experience. [:)]
i will give it a try today, been on he road. Thanks for the ideas Dave
It appears to be working now after applying your analysis and method. Well done.
This is what the resource info page looks like now
