Default Factbook search line as an empty space

Is there a way to have Factbook open to an empty search space instead of trying to populate your last search?

Everytime I re-open Factbook, it starts to populate my last search. If that last search was a large one then it takes time for it to recognize a new search and begin to populate it.

This is (from my perspective unfortunately) by design ... like a dictionary being left open on you desk.
