Numbers of resources

I remember when Logos 4 first came out, there seemed to be, or so we thought?, discrepancies between numbers of resources, L3 to L4. I have noticed that on mine now, it works out exactly:

Logos 4 Resources as counted in Go box + Logos 4 Resources Hidden (2 for me) + PBB files (LBXOEB files in L3 folder) = L3 number of resources as counted by Location Manager.

The apparent equality is deceiving as many L4 resources are not counted as such in L3 eg. timelines(8), lectionary (7). If you upgraded your library going from L3 to L4 did you also download the extra resources to L3?

To L3 resources you have add Hidden Resources (from Tools | Options
| General), subtract Help resources(21), and subtract up to 3 reverse
interlinear bibles (ESV, NRSV).

The numbers in brackets are what I have.

Thanks Dave, I suspected it was just luck which is why I posted. I did download all my resources to L3 per the blog post that came out at the time how to do it.

Actually, I have not timelines or extra lectionaries in L4. I have no hidden resources in L3. I do have the RIs and Help.

How about video files (lbxvid)? I have 44 in L3.

Where/what extension are the help files? For some reason I don't see them this morning, I wonder if I deleted them [:O]

There is apparently a formula to reconcile between the two versions of Logos though, to be sure...

Without running the grey cells ragged it is best to get a sync or folder comparison utility, but one that will allow you to equate .logos4 files & .lbxlls files with the same name ie. AEHL.lbxlls := AEHL.logos4 (to avoid a lot of orphan files which are essentially the same).
