John Piper's Missing Sermons (1971-2016) BETA

I noticed that the John Piper Sermon Archive available from Logos does not include all of his sermons. They are only the sermons he preached at Bethlehem Baptist Church and don't contain any of his sermons from outside events or from before or after his pastorate there.

I have crossed referenced the Logos resource (list provided HERE) with his sermons posted on Desiring God and have come up with a list of approximately 250 sermons NOT included in the John Piper Sermon Archive. I then spent quite a bit of time compiling those sermons into a personal book.

It's not quite ready for prime time. It needs some testing and I'm sure, some tagging tweaked here and there. What I'm asking for are a few people who have experience tagging and compiling personal books to please help me test and possibly tag this resource before I share it with the community at large.

From what I can tell, this is not the case. The sermons available in Logos start at the beginning of his pastorate at Bethlehem Baptist Church (1980) and end after he stepped down (2014). I've gone through the complete list of sermons one by one from Desiring God and without fail anytime there is a sermon preached at an outside event, it's not included in the Logos Resource. This seems to have been done by design.

It would be nice if John Piper's sermon would include the link to the audio at the end of the sermon, just like how Logos did John MacArthur's.

Hi Mike,

I think this would be nice and perhaps a few people might make use of it very occasionally but I'm not sure if it is worth the extra work involved in a PB resource like this. Brandon has already put in a huge amount of hours putting the text of the sermons into this kind of format. Maybe you'd like to volunteer to add those links yourself before it's released to everyone
