Indexing Problem

I spoke with Stephanie in the Faithlife Support Department. Based on problems I have been having she instructed me to Enable Logging from a blank layout and then send a zipped copy of my Logos Log Files. They are attached below.

I ran the indexing from the blank layout for 36-48 hours and everything seemed to stop @ 3% indexed. Granted I have a large library but not only do I believe it should index faster than that it has also been the case that this installation (I have Logos installed on 2 computers) has almost been unusable for 6 months. Something is definitely not right and I would appreciate your help/input.

Noticed Indexer crashed on 28 Apr 2016 at 22:36 (in LogosIndexerCrash.txt); attached zip file shows indexer started over. When indexing icon disappears, please check date of LogosIndexerCrash.txt file, if has changed to May, then please zip up files and attach. Contextual information for 28 Apr crash in LogosIndexer.log was overwritten when Indexer started again.

If like more SPAM, then leaving email address and phone numbers in a public forum is OK. Option is editing to remove them. By following thread, any forum reply will be emailed to you.

Indexing Icon never disappears. I am pegged at 3% and it goes no further. I understand that the info was overwritten but if I restart Logos I'm going to re-write what you-ve already received and we'll be no further along. Probably better that someone call me (or I'll call someone if you give me a reference #) and we can go from there. I'm working under a deadline and need to get this problem resolved pronto.

Thanks for the info on "public forum". Wasn't thinking clearly when I posted it I just wanted someone to know how to get in touch w/ me easiest way possible. Might want to addend this

so other customers don't make the same "unthinking" mistake.

Also in step 2 you might want to say the Documents folder "on your computer" --not under Documents in the Logos program.

Understand since indexing not completing adversely affects library searching and effective use of many tools. Phone call with Faithlife (FL) support could include core dump of stuck indexer process (for developer diagnosis).

FYI: FL employees have green logo under their avatar while MVP (Many Volunteer Posts) have red star.
