I can't get the Panel menu option "Show citation" in a Notes document to make any difference in anything i.e. in creating or displaying a note.
The citations option shows and hides citations based on the attachment point(s) for each note. Try creating a note on a text selection.
This is a pretty cool feature - works with multiple citations as well. Thanks.
