Crash (Logos 6 for Mac) and won't reopen

I was using Logos as normal, opened one of the resources that has audio files of hard to pronounce names in the Bible. I clicked one of the names, no audio played, Logos quit immediately and had a large window open up with error codes. I closed the window right away, think I just needed to reopen it; however, it will not reopen at all. I'm now attempting solution 4 to troubleshoot the issue and get Logos back. I'm attaching the Logos Logging .zip file (it will not unzip on my computer for some reason). I'm also attaching a screenshot showing what Logos looks like right now (all I get are the "Logos" and "Edit" tabs, yet all of the options are listed as "Untitled").

Welcome! Sorry you are having troubles. [:s]

The logs you provided are quite old. How often do you use Logos? Update it? What you are describing is very similar to a common issue more than six months ago, when there was a corruption with the update process for some users. The fix was simple enough, and I would suggest you trying it. Download and install the newest engine manually. See links in my signature line. If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Suggest using Activity Monitor to ensure Logos and Logos Indexer are not running, followed by replacing Application bundle => https://www.logos.com/install then open Logos 6.

If "Untitled" reappears, please use Logos Logging utility then attach newer zip file.

LogosError.log file shows many network connection errors.

Console Messages has many DisplayLink errors; suggest installing newer driver.

I use Logos every day; in fact, it is open on my computer almost constantly. I do not have internet access at home, so about 50% of the time I use it in offline mode. When I have internet access (usually daily at the office) I will use it in online mode; so, it should be updated regularly. In fact, the last update happened very recently (after downloading May's free book of the month).

I've tried reinstalling Logos 6 about 5 times now and it is simply not doing anything new. I'm not exactly sure how to use the logging tool and, since Logos isn't even really opening whatsoever, I'm not sure if it's gathering any new information. Are you using the Dock to open Logos? What happens if you open from the applications folder?

For clarification: If you open online and then lose internet connection, you may need to restart your app.

I just called in and the tech support fixed the issue. Apparently it was a problem with the folder permissions. Somehow, they managed to cut Logos off spontaneously after I had been using the program for several hours. Thanks for the help everyone!
