Book Organization on Iphone
Is there some way of organizing books so it's not just one humongous scrolling list? I haven't been able to find any feature like this - but that doesn't mean it's not there. Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Jim D.

when you're online, you can filter by typing into the search book at the top of the library list.

Other than searching, there is not good way. I would personally like to have by books stacked by type (i.e. Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries,).

I agree. As Logos keeps adding more books (yay!), it's going to get pretty tedious doing all that scrolling. Typing in words to filter the list is OK if you know what you're looking for - but if you just want to browe by type , you're out of luck.

You can filter based on resource metadata, e.g. typing "type:bible lang:he" in the filter will show Hebrew Bibles. See http://wiki.logos.com/Library#What_are_the_search_fields_in_the_Library.e2.80.99s_find_box.3f for the fields that will work.

Dave,
I've never been able to search by rating. Is that not supported on the iPhone?

Search by rating is not supported on the iPhone at this time, but it will be by a server update in the near future.

@Dave Dunkin
If the metadata is there, it should be easy for Logos to program a function to sort the library into those categories. (L******* tabs their resources under category headings.) Is this being considered for logos on PC and iPhone??
Meanwhile, is there a comprehensive list of the metadata "tags"? I try to guess at them , but apart from Bible: or Commentary: I don't guess well!

I don't know about Logos 4, but a categorized library is not currently planned for the iPhone app. You can see a partial list of types here: http://wiki.logos.com/Library#Tip_.e2.80.93_quick_way_to_find_books_by_type.
