Logos 6 update fail

According to Help, About, I am using Logos Bible Software 6.8 SR-1 6.8.0.0059. I just downloaded 0.8GB of program updates, but for the second time, I get the error message "The installation of Logos Bible Software did not succeed." First time this happened, I closed the program and reopened it and it began trying again. Now that it's happened twice, I ready to ask for some help. What does this mean? What should I do? The error message with no further redirection is not helpful.

Thanks very much, Dave. But I'm still having a problem. I'm running Windows 10. When I run the Logos Windows installer at the link you provided, I get the following error: "Error writing to file:C:\Users\Steve\AppData\Local\Logos\Pending\nl\LibronixDigitalLibrary.resources.dll. Verify that you have access to that directory." This happens even when AntiVirus is disabled, and I've manually unset the "read-only" attribute for that folder.

If it exists, the \Pending folder indicates that a software update did not complete, so try to delete it, restart the computer and retry the manual update. If the error persists then try fixing Logos folder ownership.

I tried everything you suggested, Dave. But the error persisted. I have now uninstalled Logos and retried the installation file and it seems to have made it past the point of error. Thanks so much for your help!
