
This line appears immediately below the Toolbar on the Home Page (only). It is called the Home Page Ribbon in the MP Seminars material and Home Page Top Bar in the Help document. It contains the following information:
- The Passage/Topic box (what I've always called the "Go Box" oops
) with the Go button (Called the Go box in Verbum 360 Training and LT261 Study the Bible with Logos: Matthew 4:1–11. Learn with Logos.)
- Update notifications which may be subdivided into Resource updates and Program updates
- Account Link (MPSeminars) or User name (Help) ... I prefer the Account Link terminology because it reminds me that it is not just for good looks but actually links you to your Faithlife/Logos account
- Customize Menu (MPSeminars) or Customization Menu (Help) ... not apt to cause confusion but ...
So why do I care about consistent terminology? Because I believe that if the training materials - Logos Help, LogosPro Videos, MP Seminars and the Wiki - use consistent terminology we can have less miscommunication in the forums ... and that people can learn Logos more quickly if they aren't dealing with inconsistent terminology. Which terminology is used is less important than it be consistent.
