Any ideas why the search shown below doesn't return a hit on Acts 15:26?
Perhaps because it's not simply Paul but Paul AND Barnabas? What do I know though, I never use that feature.

Graham,
Using this search might get better results. I'll have to leave it to the coders to tell you why the other isn't working. Though I suspect that George may be on to something.
<Lemma = lbs/el/ἄνθρωπος> WITHIN 0 WORDS <Person ~ Paul>

I wondered about that - but occurrences with multiple people tagged are returned
So unless there is something against Barnabas[:)]

Hi Jacob
Jacob Cerone said:<Lemma = lbs/el/ἄνθρωπος> WITHIN 0 WORDS <Person ~ Paul>
That works - thanks.
Looking into it a bit further, what I think is happening is that the "Paul tagging" extends over more than the single word and so it isn't matching my original search

ANDEQUALS caused confusion when used with the new datatypes (Person, Place, Thing, etc.) that came with Logos 6, because the datatype could extend over multiple words whose 'location' was NOT exactly the same as any one of those words in a bible. For example, in Acts 15:25-26 <Person Paul> covers "Paul, men" and it was agreed that WITHIN was the best way to resolve it e.g. <Lemma = lbs/el/ἄνθρωπος> WITHIN <Person Paul>.
Try <Lemma = lbs/el/ἄνθρωπος> WITHIN 1 WORDS <Person Paul> to see the affect of non-zero separation.
