CRASH: Logos 6 hangs when running Passage Guide on selected verses

Open Logos 6 (current ver.) in blank layout, open passage guide then enter selected verses, then initiate. Logos hangs. See screen shot, logs and Event Logs. Followed Dave Hooton's pages on reinstalling without downloads, etc. but still no joy. Any assistance appreciated. 6253.LogosLogFiles.zip

Hi Simon,
This is an unusual error that I've not seen before. It might be due to issues with .NET, WPF or your graphics driver — see the similar (but not identical) errors here and here. But as it's so unusual, I think a Faithlife developer will need to advise you further. Hopefully one will be a long later in the day.

I'm sorry it's giving you trouble. Could you try going through the steps for Solution 2: Refresh the Font Cache at https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/windows/font-cache and let us know if that doesn't solve the problem?

Thank you Lawrence. I followed the instructions for refreshing the Font Cache. I deleted the 3.0 file and restarted the service (which initially was not running and is set to manual start - should it be auto?), but the file has not since been re-created. There are other font cache files present. The largest is FontCache-FontFace.dat, then several other caches with the format FontCache-S-1-5-18-xxx then others still with a similar format S-1-5-21-xxxxx. Should I delete these other cache files? Logos still hangs when running the guide.

Thanks to Mark and Lawrence for their replies to this issue. I have resolved the problem by rebuilding my PC with a clean install of Windows 10 - formerly an upgrade from Windows 7 which was lasted nearly a year before the recent problems and hangs in Logos. I can now report that Passage Guide and all other guides and features appear to be working fine and I have experienced no hangs or crashes. Simon.
