Could someone Explain to me why
type:monograph publisher:perseus subject:classics
OR
mytag:ancient
works in Collection but
type:monograph publisher:perseus subject:classics OR mytag:ancient
not?
TRY (type:monograph publisher:perseus subject:classics) OR mytag:ancient
...now I loose everything
Are the resources tagged: Ancient a subset of type:monograph publisher:perseus subject:classics ?
H doc
no one are the Perseus books and the others are with mytag:ancient tagged
I had a play and this does not work:
(publisher:perseus type:monograph) OR mytag:ancient [N]
but this does work:
(publisher:perseus AND type:monograph) OR mytag:ancient [Y]
adding AND seems to make all the difference
[Y]
The first line is for the Title of the Collection only i.e. "Study Ancient Text".
Make sure the second line under Start with resources matching contains the whole collection rule.
Then click on Open and delete all collections whose title contains for example "Study Ancient Text type:monograph publisher:..."
This works for me, but I also added -latin to get rid of the Latin resources.
Dave thanks but I just parked the Rule there for not loosing it, I know it belongs to the second Line :-)
Dave thanks but I just parked the Rule there for not loosing it,
