How do I get my Bible to scroll not jump a page at a time?
I suspect you have columns set for that resource. If so there are two grayed out arrows toward the bottom right of the resource pane. Click the resource menu at the top left of the pane and set the columns to "None"
Under the drop down menu, change the column from "auto" to "none."

How do I startup Logos 6 offline?
Press and hold the command key (mac) upon startup. I think it is the control key on windows.
Which is better to use for a theological research paper, notes or clippings?
Clippings are a great tool to combine all your quotations on a particular topic. Just be sure to create a new clippings document for the paper, so they all stay in one place. (I also highlight the clipping so I can skim through the resource again later.)
If possible, I also recommend adding tags to the clippings so you can find them easier later. Then, when writing the paper, I still prefer Word with the Zotero plug-in for citations.
Why doesn't my journal article appear in the Passage Guide Journal section?
In order for a journal article to appear in the Passage Guide it must A) have journal label tagging and
journal label tagging must include a Bible reference in the references property.
In order for
to occur (i.e. journal label tag includes a bible reference) the reference itself must occur in either A) the title of the article or
the abstract (if present).
Since this article doesn't have a reference in either the title or the abstract, it would not show up in the Passage Guide.
Do a right click on the Journal article to show the label and its contents ... we should then be able to tell why it doesn't show up.
How do I identify Logos Now resources and features?
You can find all that is in Logos Now in this post. Let me know if you have questions:
https://community.logos.com/forums/t/105147.aspx
You can sort your library by the license field to see what is permanent and what is temporary.
How do I identify the Pesher in the Dead Sea Scrolls?
My PB index has 17 pesharim, at least if you count Biblical pesharim. Then there are more that are non-biblical. Here is the list of the 17:
- Isaiah (6): 3Q4, 4Q161, 4Q162, 4Q163, 4Q164, 4Q165
- Psalms (3): 1Q16, 4Q171, 4Q173
- Hosea (2): 4Q166, 4Q167
- Micah (2): 1Q14, 4Q168?
- Zephaniah (2): 1Q15, 4Q170
- Nahum (1): 4Q169
- Habakkuk (1): 1QpHab
Here is an article from the Lexham Bible Dictionary on the Pesharim. It includes references to the 17 that are typically listed as Biblical Pesharim, plus another one or two that are very fragmentary and usually not listed, as well as the non-biblical ones: https://ref.ly/logosres/lbd;hw=Pesharim_from_Qumran
Apparently, Charlesworth actually speaks about these 17 pesharim - http://www.jstor.org/stable/1561087?seq=1#page_scan_tab_contents, as well as other similar writings: http://www.jhsonline.org/reviews/review088.htm.
Sometimes 16 are listed instead of 17 because one of the pesharim of Micah (4Q168) is questionable.
How do I find my most used resources?
There is a column in my library called "most used." I don't know how long it has been an option, nor do I know how it is calculated.
"The "Most Used" column ranks your resources by your most/least used resources. So a resource that has "1" under Most Used is your most frequently used resource. The bigger the number, the less often it is used. Resources with the same number of uses will have the same rank."
This is from Dylan Rondeau in the thread https://community.logos.com/forums/t/83072.aspx where that feature was discussed - seems it was implemented in Logos 5.2a back in spring 2014, but uses data about resource opening from before if they are available.
The calculation seems to rank books according to the number of times they were opened (which includes those that were opened as part of a layout even if you never intentionally looked at them, which brought e.g. one study bible into the top 15 for me ) and the count goes back as long as the installation remembers, i.e. you may find top-ranked resources that were not accessed for months. The lowest rank (= highest number, never opened) is 151 for me.
