The same with me. I run an MacBook, Snowtiger and I am not able to start Logos4Mac. It seems to start and then suddenly shuts down. The automatical updates won't work either. It starts and then it ends suddenly... I redownloaded the program but it doesn't change anything...
Could anybody help with that?
Thanx
A14 crashes when opening. Thanks Richard 6327.Archive.zip
In posted Console Messages log, appears Logos is crashing - suspect Mac Development team would like crash report files posted:
/Users/richardwilliams/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/Logos4Indexer_2010-02-28-171457_richard-williamss-macbook-2.crash
/Users/richardwilliams/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/Logos4Indexer_2010-02-28-171431_richard-williamss-macbook-2.crash
Both Logos4.log and Indexer.log have "Already running, so we'll exit now." - wonder if Logos launched again before crash completed, losing debug information in Indexer.log and Logos4.log files.
Apple's utility Activity Monitor can display all running processes - useful to watch "Logos Bible Software 4" and "Logos4Indexer" processes.

By the way, Wikipedia Mac OS X article does not mention Snowtiger: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_os_x

See the first link in my signature, Item 6 for instructions on enabling logging and posting your log files on this forum. This will give the tech people vital information in tracking down you problem(s).
Richard, have you tried rebooting?
If that doesn't work, after you run Logos4, if it still crashes, try running the following from the Terminal:
launchctl start com.logos.LogosIndexer
Then attach your logs.
That "launchctl" command will attempt to run the indexer again...
I did what yo said and it did not work. Here is my logs. Thank you so much.

Tried the same... The blue logo stayed for about 3 seconds and disappeared, here's my log

Tim,
It looks like your Bible index is corrupt. You need to run "Rebuild Bible Index" from the command bar to have your Bible index rebuilt.
One other sure fire way to do this would be to delete the BibleIndex folder under
/Users/<your_user_id>/Application Support/Logos4/Data/<some_other_id>/
and restart.
Richard,
It looks like this resource is giving you trouble:
/Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources/178.lbxlls
Can you do two things for me? 1) Open this resource in Libronix 1.2.2 for Mac and let me know which resource this is. 2) Can you move this file to another folder temporarily and see if you can get further with indexing/opening Logos4?
It looks like it was something from stilltruth. I deleted it and it apears to be working.
Thank you
Richard.
Check out the thread on http://community.logos.com/forums/t/12732.aspx it appears to be working...
The L4 processor cooling fan life test is complete [;)] The data is re-indexed and seems stable. Hopefully the 178.lbxlls track solved the problem.
