Android 4.1.2 can't update to 5.2.3
I have been running Bible version 5.2.1 on android 4.1.2 on a galaxy s2 with 300MB available app space. Even with uninstalling other apps and removing Bible app downloaded resources I get the message Can't install insufficient storage available. Can I not update because I have an old device and operating system, or does the update really require more storage? I noticed the galaxy s2 also runs warm trying to update. Thanks.

The app uses roughly 85 MB by itself before logging in, and can use hundreds of MB in data depending on how many resources you have downloaded locally, how many notes/highlights you have, etc.
I suggest opening Settings on your device and look at the Storage and Apps sections to see what is using up the space on your device. Having only 300 MB free means your device is nearly full.
