Reinstalling Logos 6: lots of errors

I want to reinstall Logos 6 (Mac Stable), but when I see the logs I get a lot of errors.
I have no firewall (except the one on Mac (El Capitan 10.11.5).
I suspect these errors are also the cause of some errors I encountered before I decided to reinstall
Any help / info is appreciated.

What stage in the reinstall are you at? Have you successfully downloaded the engine (see link in my signature line below)?
Why did you decide to reinstall Logos? Do you mean "reinstall the engine" or "reinstall everything"? If the later, did you go in and manually delete everything? (Simply deleting the engine from the applications folder doesn't do much).

Hello,
I deleted all in the Logos4 directory. But made a copy of the Resources folder.
I follow the instructions from https://wiki.logos.com/Quick_Installation_onto_Multiple_Macs
I have started the stable version and am waiting for the download to start (no 4 in the instructions).
When I look at logos.log, I encounter the errors. Perhaps the logos servers are down.
I have checked the firewall settings for Mac and have turned the firewall off.

Restarting the Mac changes nothing.

I have checked this page and deleted all folders and files relating to Logos:

...yes, but #4 is "stop the download." #5 moves past that. Does the app not open at all? Can you not open Logos|Preferences?
Is it possible your ISP is blocking it?

The app is running and checking for files. But I cannot open preferences.
I download a new app and tried that too
No, my ISP is blocking nothing, other programs are working fine.
I see this error:
Error: SendFailure (Cannot access a disposed object.
Object name: 'System.Net.Sockets.NetworkStream'.)Does this relate to a Mono error or an error in the SQL database?
Perhaps someone from Logos can help me. I hope they are checking this thread.

Its a .NET module failure i.e. Microsoft not Logos. I'd search the forums for information on repairing/updating your .NET

Yes I'm on an older MacBook Pro and just began experiencing this after doing the OSX 10.11.5 update over the weekend. I tried all the things you listed here, but no sucess. I have a Windows laptop that I use as backup and it is not having any problems (as on the Mac).
I know most people can't do that due to cost, but I have found it invaluable during the last couple years for this very kind of event.

The newest app https://www.logos.com/install seems to work for me. I got an e-mail from Tech about this.
After the same errors, the install works fine until now. The program is now scanning my backed up resources.
Hopefully everything will be OK when I wake up. I go to bed now [:D]

Logos6 Latest stable version Mac works fine now. No errors.
Will have to look at the logs for a few days if an update gives no errors.

Did not hear from you. how is your installation working?
I am having problems again, the same as I had before reinstalling [:@]
The problems can be 'invoked' (in my case) by starting up with a layout or a book open.
Perhaps also when there are updates. I have contacted tech and sent in some logs.
It seems to me that more Mac users can have these same problems.
