Searching forums doesn't work

Am I the only one? When I search int he box at the top of the page I get an error saying:

Sorry, there was a problem with your last request!

Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your request again or if you know who your site administrator is let them know too.

I have just tried it and see the same thing.

It's not something I use - I use Google search instead which still works properly - but it should work!

It is still broken for me in both Chrome and Firefox, and has been broken for me since at least yesterday (and maybe longer: I don't recall exactly).

I contacted customer service about this via e-mail, shortly before I found this forum thread <which is harder to do without search : >

Type the following in a Google search box -
site:community.logos.com
then hit the spacebar once
then type the topic you wish to search

But the Logos forum search provides additional features, e.g.

sorting the results with most recent first, (although Google can at least limit its search results to the past 24hrs by adding "&tbs=qdr:d" to the search URL; or, after searching, clicking on "Search Tools" and then changing "Any time" to "Past 24 hours")
limiting results to the selected forum (which I don't see how Google could do).

Those are two features that I use daily, as I'm only interested in searching particular forums, and only posts within them since I last read.

DIAGNOSIS: I've discovered evidence that the failing searches may be ones containing particular bad post(s)/record(s), as if I today repeat a search that failed for me earlier in the week:

It initially succeeds, providing 1 page of search results.
The error returns when I click "Next >" (or '2') at the bottom of the page, to get the second page of search results.
If I return to the first page and click '3' to skip the second page (requesting the third page of search results, instead), then I can continue (e.g. using "Next >") from there as usual.

I'm guessing that in a few more days, '2' will work and '3' will fail, etc, as the bad post(s)/record(s) in the forum database age.
