  • Ensure that screen is split with two resources
  • Create a new document
  • Create a new note
  • Tap in Note Title and add some text
  • Tap somewhere in the resource in the other panel. (no content added)
  • Tap on 'No Content' of the new note file (the caret is visible in the content area)
  • Tap on the content area (caret disappears ...)
  • Start typing ... where is the text? (BUG: the second Tap stops text appearing)
  • Use the backspace key a couple of times to delete the non-displayed text (Crash ... no more Logos!)

Relaunch Logos. The new notes file is still there, (with the note, without content).

  • Tap on the title of the note to open it.
  • Tap on content area ... no caret
  • Click again on the content area (Bug: 'Paste' appears. Why? Click on paste ... no caret ... click on content area ... back to paste etc. How do you dismiss the paste? ... Typing show no text. Backspace still crashes the app.)

I can't seem to reproduce this issue. Please use Report a Problem under the Help menu so we can review the app logs, and reference this forum thread in the email.

What device and app version are you using? Is the device in portrait or landscape, and are you using a bluetooth keyboard?

    -------------

Update: I just reproduced the issue; the crash only occurs when the Note document setting is set to Compact, not Full. The immediate workaround is to use the Full setting.

In any case there's no need to send your app logs, I'll write up a case. Thanks for the report.!
