Bug: Device list is unmanageable

See attached screen; I think I have read that with a new version of Logos/Verbum on a mobile device, or maybe it's an iOS update, new entries for mobile devices go into the Logos/Verbum list. As you can see, it is unmanageable. Which is the current, which do I delete on the web site? I have on a pretty regular basis, say every 3-4 months, gone in and deleted entries as best as I can.
This bug has been reported before. Can it please be escalated? There must be some way to make the software smart enough to not keep adding entries into this list. It makes the ability to tag resources to be downloaded to mobile devices unusable. Thanks.

Until it gets fixed...
You need to rename the devices (click "manage mobile devices"). Most helpful is a unique identifier and date (i.e. Alabama's iPhone 2016). When a new one is created, it won't have the identifier.
A "trigger" that can cause this: Beta testing (Do you beta test any of the mobile apps?).

Resurrecting this thread...
What happens if I were to remove all "devices" that have the same name? I have 4 entries with my iPhone name, 3 entries from an iPad that either I don't have any longer or is now my wife's, plus a few other duplicates. There should really only be 3 entries. So I'm tempted to remove all of them and let them re-populate as I use the Bible! app on my devices. Would that work? Will running the app re-add the device to the list?
After that, I can use the tip to rename them to something that will make them easily identifiable if they end up getting duplicated again in the future. Note that I do not do betas.
Thanks,
Donnie
