Was looking through your website and was wandering if i could get as much input as possible. I am wanting to study ancient PALEO HEBREW. What products could anybody recommend who maybe doing something similar. IE software books anything in reference to finding the truth of the TORAH through PICTORIAL and ANCIENT PALEO HEBREW

Very much appreciated if you can HELP by leaving some input.

Hi Paul,

From what I can tell from a quick search, Logos does not produce anything that includes the paleo-Hebrew alphabet. Since it is simply an alphabet and the grammar and vocabulary are (as far as I can tell) much the same as in the Biblical Hebrew most of us are familiar with, you could learn the language well from some Logos resources you will discover using Lynden's link. However, you will not find the pictorial alphabet in any of the resources, even in the single one I found which discusses something close to it. See Ben-Hayyim's work here:

To find resources containing information regarding the history of the Hebrew language, search the website for "history Hebrew Language" . This resource looks promising, for example:

I would expect journals such as Journal of Northwest Semitic Languages, to provide some information.

But you will not find a preselected bundle of Paleo-Hebrew related resources as far as I can tell. As to what are the standard resources, I don't know ... but http://lila.sns.it/mnamon/index.php?page=Risorse&id=8&lang=en seems to be a reasonable starting point to become familiar with what resources are critical.

For 'ancient' paleo, you're going to have to go with several of the inscription resources (search inscriptions). With one exception, that won't get you closer to the Torah. For that, the closest is several of the Dead Sea Scrolls used paleo ... presumably for specialness.

As above, paleo is a writing method. Hebrew, the language. So, early hebrew is going to be buried in the MT/DSS text in the form of spelling variation, syntax, etc. My preference for that is Anderson (of Anderson Forbes fame). Search spelling.
