Did we get what we ordered?

The Homilies and Angeli of Pope John Paul II downloaded today - at least some if not all of it did.

The product page says 8 volumes

The Table of Contents on the Product page says:

Homilies, vol. 1
Homilies, vol. 2
Homilies, vol. 3
Homilies, vol. 4
Angelus & Regina Coeli, vol. 1
Angelus & Regina Coeli, vol. 2
Angelus & Regina Coeli, vol. 3
Angelus & Regina Coeli, vol. 4

There are no dates of the Homilies or Angeli on the product page, so there is no way of knowing what was sold.

The Table of contents in the ONE resource, not eight, that downloaded doesn't match this Table of Contents at all. Also, there are no Volume designations that might indicate everything is there. Since no dates of homilies etc. were advertised there is no way to see if any homilies are missing.

Can this be clarified ? It's probably correct, but how would I know? IMHO the product pages are very misleading compared to what we received.

I can't check the Homilies as I already read them. However the Angelus... contains years 1978-2005 i.e. the entire pontificate omitting (in the TOC) 1980, 1981, 1983, 1991, 199. Comparing against http://w2.vatican.va/content/john-paul-ii/en/angelus/1980.index.html and similar pages for other years it appears that when the Holy See site does not contain an English version it is not in the Logos version.

The volumes include everything the Vatican website had available in English.

It's a lot of content, so we posted the pre-pub as eight volumes (though there's no print equivalent that I know of, so this is, admittedly, somewhat arbitrary). When it came to producing it though, we determined that it was actually simpler (for us and for the user) to have all the homilies in one volume and all the angelus addresses in another volume.

More recently, we updated the description to quantify it terms of the number of homilies and angelus addresses. We should have also made it clearer that it would download as only two resources. I'll ask for the page to be updated.

Thanks for the explanation Louis. Just to clarify for others, I only received 1 resource download this week, "Angelus-Regina Coeli of Pope John Paul II (English). I discovered I already had "Homilies of Pope John Paul II (English) that downloaded on April 13. I have it tagged as part of the Verbum 6 Capstone Edition, which seems to match the product page. So Verbum users at some level may already have part of this 2 resource package, further confusing the issue (as it does not show Capstone as a place where the collection resides, on the right hand side, like it does other resources; I suspect because Capstone does not contain the whole collection)!

I was confused earlier in the month as well. There was a brief discussion and explanation then in this thread.
