I am running Logos 4 in Windows XP running under VMWare Fusion 3.0.2 on a MacBook Pro Mac OSX 10.6.2
The Windows side is configured with a 40G drive, 2 processor cores, 1.5G Ram.
I am also running Logos for Mac on the Mac side, currently at Alpha 14.
Logos 4 for Windows was running fine until the Mac Alpha 14 update. No problems at all before that!
Since that update I've not been able to get Logos 4 Windows to run. It crashed on startup after: (1) signing in, (2) showing a blank workspace, (3) resizing the workspace—smaller, then maximized again. A few seconds after that I got a dialog box saying "Logos Bible Software 4 has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." with the obligatory send info to Microsoft message.
Using the control key I was able to start Logos with a blank layout, and was able to open books without crashing the program. Since closing the program with books open in the layout I can open the program normally, however, I cannot load any layouts. Doing so crashes the program.
Interestingly—and just as a point of reference—some, not all, of the layouts will crash Mac A14 as well.
So, it seemsl like a problem with layouts, maybe related to the Mac version, but I'm not sure what to do to fix it.
Help!
Thanks!
