BUG: 2=3 because of mismatch of translation used
The 2 comes from the LEB the 3 comes from NRSV my highest priority Bible ... inconsistent data in Lemma section of Factbook which in fact only shows 2 verses. BTW I can't check if the spark chart shows Books and counts on hover as I can't force it to stay open.

The sparkline in Factbook shows instances of the lemma only where they designate the specific entity you're running Factbook on.
The popup tip for a lemma shows how many times that lemma appears overall in the Bible and how it's translated (in your preferred version). It's the same popup tip that's shown for that lemma anywhere in the system; it is not filtered down to just the instances tagged with the current Factbook reference.
This may become clearer if we look at a lemma that is often used to designate a specific person, but is also used generically throughout the Bible. The counts here are quite different (285 vs 712), but it has nothing to do with the Bible translation that's used, it's about whether κύριος is tagged as Jesus or not. In your case, it's the difference between יַנְשׁוּף being tagged "Eagle owl" (2 instances) or "Owl" (1 instance).

Almost certainly, yes. The LEB is "just" another translation. (So that answers the question, but I don't understand the assumptions that caused you to ask it.)
All tagging (of biblical people, places, things—this last category includes "Eagle owl") is performed on the original language texts (LHB and SBLGNT specifically).
The difference between the counts (2 and 3) has nothing to do with LEB vs NRSV (or any other English translation).
Factbook is answering: "Where is 'Eagle owl' tagged on the lemma יַנְשׁוּף?" (answer: 2 occurrences)
The popup is answering: "How is יַנְשׁוּף translated across the entire Bible?" (answer: "great owl" and "owl" in LEB; "owl" in NRSV; "screech owl" and "owl" in NASB95; etc.)

Also, note that even though the ring graph shows that all occurrences of this lemma are translated "owl" in NRSV, when you examine them you see that two are actually "great owl" and one is "owl". So the NRSV also appears to classify this lemma as two different types of birds in its translation.

It's more a matter of understanding why the entries I checked led to a false conclusion ...
