If you're willing to risk it, rename the file C:\Users\Scott\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\3mapatd4.ykj\HistoryManager\history.db to history.old

Restart Logos.

If that works, delete the file history.old

If not, delete the new history.db and rename history.old to history.db (essentially reinstating the file)

I'm out of ideas, sorry.

Guess you could do two things:

1. Reinstall Logos.

2. If you are in the States, you could call 800-875-6467 during office hours, and have a technician get on your machine to troubleshoot. They will tell you how.

I'd go with the second option to find the root of the problem.

Thanks again, Lee. Yes I am in Seattle, which is less than 1 1/2 hours from Logos in Bellingham, WA. The 2 of you who have replied here do not advise reinstalling as the first choice. Is there some reason to hold of on reinstalling that I may not be aware of?

Simply that it can take a long time and - in many cases - it doesn't fix the problem!

If you were to go down the reinstallation route I would suggest totally removing the software and resources and starting from scratch.

Ok, Graham! Thanks! I have been contemplating for some time, even before this problem with Logos occurred Saturday, the idea of refreshing Window completely - the option that leaves all my files but reinstalls the operating system. If I do a reinstall of Logos, I will probably do that first. Hopefully that will take care of whatever the root problem is as Lee is suggesting. But I am not a computer techie, so do you have any thoughts or concerns about going that route as well? (I don't mind reinstalling and all that - I actually enjoy all the set up, etc., on a new device.)
