Now that you asked ... I find it strange. I already owned both CUV(Traditional & Simplified) ages ago when it was first published in Logos format ... somehow, dynamic pricing is not picking it up (? hopefully Logos review this issue), the following is what I owned now:

I followed the 2 links in your post, when login to my Logos Account ... it links to a resources that I own which is

So looks like it is possible to be a typo here ... may be should be 上帝 instead of 神 Edition in the Chinese Bronze product page ... as it does not make sense for Logos to release RVI without the accompanying Text.

Thank you for your inquiry. Sorry for the confusion. No, it is not a typo for this Chinese Bible. The Bible you circled in red is the 1919 CUV Bible which Logos is going to produce and it is different from the "中文聖經和合本－上帝版(繁體)The Holy Bible: Traditional Chinese Union Version" (it is copyrighted by Hong Kong Bible Society.) I hope this clarifies your question.

Thanks for your reply ... can I confirm that the CUV RVI will work on the Text of the existing CUV (traditional) HK Bible society which is NOT part of the Chinese Bronze package.

If the this is correct it is fine for me, However, any others without this text, would have to buy this as an addon for CUV RVI to work. Sounds a bit strange to me. If so, it will be nice to highlight in the Chinese Bronze package that user has to purchase CUV (traditional - HK Bible Society) separately for CUV RVI to work.

Clearly the standalone CUV RVI product states that it does not come with the Text:

Actually, it says that although the list price won't change, your dynamic price may increase slightly. I'm of course just one example, but I have about a 45% discount on it, and my price increased by only 64¢.

So on the one hand, it seems a bit strange that my price would increase, as I already made an order and even received an invoice stating the old price. On the other hand, it is only 64¢. : )

The purpose of the email you received is to inform you that the new price will be different from the invoice you received when you first placed the Pre-order (It usually goes up a bit because you does not previously own this newly added Chinese Bible). We will charge you the new dynamic price when we ship the product to you. In your case, it will be 64¢ more than your previous invoice price. Sorry for the inconvenience and confusion.

If you see all of Logos RVI to-date ... comes as a pair ... English-Hebrew (OT) and English-Greek (NT) RVI resources. I observed that the Chinese RVI does not follow the same packaging pattern.

Just a curiosity question.

Thank you for your question. For CUV RVI, we did not follow the pattern of other English Bible RVI. We combine the Hebrew(OT) and Greek(NT) in one volume. Therefore, CUV RVI comes with the whole Bible. I hope this help answer your question.

One more question ... Is there a plan to come up with separate Bronze Base Package for Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

I noticed that in the bronze bundle there are numerous resources in both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. I think it is not likely that a user would want the same resource in both Simplified and Traditional Chinese (I will hid all the traditional Chinese resources if an equivalent Simplified Chinese resource is available).

Thought that you might unintentionally give users the impression that you are over stating the value of the Chinese bronze base package by counting the $value of the resources twice [:)]

Thank you for your question. Yes, we do have the plan to have all Chinese Base Package in Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese when we have enough Chinese resources from publishers. Due to the limited resources at this time, this initial Bronze package is kind of like "Hybrid" type containing SC, TC, and English resources. More Chinese resources will be available and we plan to have separated Chinese editions in the future.
