Hello, I am just wondering if anyone here has or uses the Logos training manuals vol 1,2 for Logos 6? Is it worth buying for $49.99?
Well, I guess not...lol
Keith, I found screencasts or in-person training to be much more helpful. Shoot me a message and we can talk in greater detail: Jonathan@LearnWithLogos.com
I am going through the Logos 6 training manuals again. I think they are very comprehensive and easy to follow in order to teach you how to use the software. Unless you are using two monitors, I would pay the extra money for the postage to get them in paper so you are able to do in your Logos program what is being described, without having to switch back and forth. It is also easier to find answers this way then trying to find it again on a video.
I would highly recommend learnlogos.com. For what you will spend on those manuals (or maybe $15 more), you can get hours upon hours of video training on nearly everything you can think of in Logos. John is a former Logos employee and his training even includes training on resources you need to buy to make the most of Logos. My use of Logos was never the same afterwards. I simply cannot overstate how valuable his training videos are, and how affordable they are.
He also does free webinars biweekly on Logos related issues, like sermon prep, Bible study, etc.
Thank you everyone for the feedback!! 👍🏼😊
Thankful for free 30 day training => https://www.logos.com/30-day-training that focuses on doing Bible study using Logos or Verbum.
Keep Smiling [:)]
